Built by hardened hands
Some had not to carry.
They are not monuments
Pierre, Calvin, Larry.
Is there a some desert, or some
patheless sea
For many a scattered way?
Some rock for them to break
And fashion things today?
Of grains of gold
The hate of hell and war,
And though the body lies where
water roll,
Their mettle tried before.
