Let Your steadfast love come to me,
Your salvation of Your promise;
Give me insight so I can see,
On Judgment Day of Your justice.

Let Your mercy come onto me.
Your salvation as to Your Word;
As Your commandments will decree,
Spoken to me let it be heard.

Shall I have an answer to him,
The person that is taunting me;
My trust in the Word like a hymn,
Humbles myself on bended knee.

I will take not the Word of truth,
Entirely out of my tongue.
Not audacious to be uncouth,
For my hope in Your rules are flung.

I will forever keep Your Law,
Continually on my mind;
Keep listening to hear Your call,
You know I am humbled and kind.

For I shall walk in a wide place,
As I walk in Your liberty;
Seeking Your precepts to embrace,
Avoids spiritual poverty.

I will continue to proclaim,
Speak testimonies before kings;
For I will not be put to shame,
Or of what the consequence brings.

Because I find delight in You,
Your commandments in which I love;
Knowing they are completely true,
For living morally thereof.

I will lift up my hands towards You,
And meditate on Your statutes;
Knowing Your commandments are true,
Which my faith keeps growing deep roots.
