Take away all the dreams .. the games
The hurts and joys of yesterday~
The ways you d like it all to be
The believing in the prayers you pray~
Take away the emotions many
That guide us all the time~
The need to be needed so
And to have things oh so fine~
All the little things we depend upon
And the things we think we do~
And you end up with someone
Who can still make it through~
Seems a little far fetched but
There's always another way to open a gate~
And to look at life yet another way
And give yourself a brand new slate~
Then you give it all that you have to give
With what you have left its true~
This time giving it your heart and soul
And you ll get there and never more be blue~
